2. Severe Pain:
When the extent of the nail injury is too great, any slight movement can irritate the nail bed, causing intense pain. If the pain is difficult to control, it’s best to seek medical attention promptly.

3. Nails Already Cracked or Detached:
If your gel nails have already cracked, lifted, or detached, you should also consider removing them to avoid increasing the risk of injury.

How to Protect Your Nails?
To prevent nail injuries, Dr. Weng recommends paying attention to the following points:

1. Regularly Trim Your Nails: Maintain an appropriate nail length to avoid injuries from overly long nails getting caught on things.
